Short-term traffic stops on the northbound on ramp and southbound off ramp

Breaking rock along northbound on ramp ‘round the clock
Work Scheduled:

Breaking rock ‘round the clock and excavating dirt along the northbound on ramp (northeast ramp)

Hauling rock and dirt from southbound off ramp (northwest ramp) to areas along southbound Route 65 for future auxiliary lane
-
Hauling rock and dirt to southbound on ramp (southwest ramp)
Traffic Impacts:

Short-term traffic stops on northbound on ramp (northeast ramp) and southbound off ramp (northwest ramp)

Right shoulder closed along southbound Route 65 at times
-
No lane closings planned on Battlefield Road or on Route 65

Be alert for trucks entering and leaving work areas
(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.)
Project Summary:

Replace Battlefield Road bridge over Route 65

Convert interchange to a Diverging Diamond configuration

Build northbound and southbound auxiliary lanes on Route 65 to connect Sunshine Street and Battlefield Road ramps

Install new traffic signal at Battlefield Road and Woodstock Avenue

Total Project Cost: $12.5 million.
