Grading and widening Route 65 ramps on the north side of Battlefield Road

Hauling rock and dirt from northbound on ramp (northeast ramp) to storage areas on the northeast corner of interchange

Breaking rock and grading dirt along the southbound on ramp (southwest ramp)

Hauling rock and dirt to the southbound Route 65 auxiliary lane between Sunshine Street and Battlefield Road

Excavating rock and dirt along northbound Route 65 underneath the Battlefield Road bridge

Short-term traffic stops on northbound on ramp (northeast ramp) at times

Trucks entering and leaving work areas

NO lane closings planned on Battlefield Road or on Route 65
(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.)
Project Summary:

Replace Battlefield Road bridge over Route 65

Convert interchange to a Diverging Diamond configuration

Build northbound and southbound auxiliary lanes on Route 65 to connect Sunshine Street and Battlefield Road ramps

Install new traffic signal at Battlefield Road and Woodstock Avenue

Total Project Cost: $12.5 million.
