Battlefield Road scheduled to CLOSE between Route 65 and Woodstock Drive Week of June 21 until June 29
Work Scheduled:

Pouring concrete for driving surface on the new Battlefield Road bridge over Route 65

Rebuilding and widening northbound off ramp from Route 65 to Battlefield Road

Rebuilding and widening southbound on ramp from Battlefield Road to Route 65
-
Pouring concrete for a bridge approach on either side of the new Battlefield Road bridge over Route 65

Building curb and gutter on the southwest corner of the interchange along Battlefield Road

Nighttime lane closings possible on Battlefield Road at Route 65

Battlefield Road CLOSING between Route 65 and Woodstock Drive sometime during the week of June 21 until June 29

Northbound Route 65 off ramp to Battlefield Road CLOSED until Monday, June 29

All six lanes of Route 65 shifted AWAY from median at Battlefield Road

TRAFFIC CONGESTION on Battlefield Road at Route 65. One lane open in each direction in diverging diamond traffic pattern.

Lane closings possible at times on Route 65 during lower traffic volume times

Route 65 speed limit reduced to 50 mph during lane closings

Crews and equipment entering and leaving work areas

Project Summary

Replace Battlefield Road bridge over Route 65 one-half at a time

Convert interchange to a Diverging Diamond configuration

Build northbound and southbound auxiliary lanes on Route 65 to connect Sunshine Street and Battlefield Road ramps

Install new traffic signal at Battlefield Road and Woodstock Avenue
