Kansas Expressway CLOSED at RR Crossing

South of Chestnut Expressway March 21-23

Kansas Expressway (Route 13) south of Chestnut Expressway will be CLOSED for railroad crossing repairs from early Saturday morning, March 21, until early Monday morning, March 23, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Kansas Expressway will close at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 21, and could remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, March 23.

Missouri-Northern Arkansas (MNA) railroad crews will replace the rail crossing which lies between College and Walnut Streets.

During the closing, drivers are asked to find an alternate route using nearby city streets.  Drivers will be able to get to all driveways and entrances on either side of the closing, but will not be able to travel through the area where the railroad crews are working.  There will not be a signed detour to get around the closing.
