Overnight closures for Republic Road and National Avenue intersection tonight and Wednesday

Overnight paving will require the intersection of Republic Road and National Avenue to close to traffic starting at 9:30 p.m. tonight (May 12) until 5:30 a.m. tomorrow (May 13). The intersection will also be closed from 9:30 p.m. tomorrow night (Wednesday, May 13) until 5:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14. These closures are weather permitting. No traffic will be allowed through the intersection during these closures. All driveways to businesses will be open, but an alternate route may need to be taken.

This work is a part of the Republic Road Widening project from the entrance to Chase Card Services to Fremont Avenue. The project is funded by the 1/4-Cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax and the 1/8-Cent Transportation Sales Tax.
